CeraVe Baby Healing Ointment for Dry, Cracked Skin

Developed in collaboration with pediatric dermatologists, the CeraVe Healing Ointment for Baby is designed to protect and soothe a baby's delicate skin when it is dry, cracked, and/or chafed. Formulated with a silky, lightweight texture, this ointment contains hyaluronic acid to provide additional moisture.

This diaper rash cream helps protect chafed skin caused by diaper rash and aids in sealing out wetness. The formula is fragrance-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, lanolin-free, phthalates-free, dye-free, gluten-free, non-comedogenic, and non-irritating. It has been accepted by the National Eczema Association, which only approves products that meet the criteria for use by those with eczema or sensitive skin conditions.

The key ingredients in the CeraVe Healing Ointment for Baby include:

• 46.5% Petrolatum: Helps form a protective seal to shield the baby's delicate skin from wetness and lock in hydration. • Ceramides: Essential for maintaining healthy skin, ceramides help restore and preserve the skin's natural barrier. • Hyaluronic Acid: This ingredient attracts moisture to the skin's surface and assists the skin in retaining hydration. • Vitamin E: Provides soothing and moisturizing benefits.

The ointment temporarily protects and soothes a baby's delicate skin when it is dry, cracked, and/or chafed. Formulated with Petrolatum to help temporarily protect the skin and Hyaluronic Acid to retain the skin's moisture, this non-greasy balm and diaper rash cream glides over extra-dry areas on the face, body, and diaper area, leaving the skin feeling smooth and hydrated, never greasy.

The CeraVe Healing Ointment for Baby is a gentle diaper rash ointment that is free from lanolin, fragrance, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, dyes, and gluten. It is also non-comedogenic. This product can be used before or after diaper rash starts.

The National Eczema Association has awarded the CeraVe Healing Ointment for Baby its Seal of Acceptance, recognizing that it meets the criteria for use by those with eczema or sensitive skin conditions.

The ointment is formulated with three essential ceramides, which make up 50% of the lipids in the skin barrier. These lipids, including ceramides, fill in the gaps between skin cells, allowing the baby's skin to seal in moisture and keep out impurities.

The CeraVe Healing Ointment for Baby is eligible for use with Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
